What a great experience. I recently purchased a 55" Samsung TV from BS store on Rockville Pike. My first trip to a BS store. I was truly prepared for high pressure salesman to tell me that I needed a bigger screen TV, etc. That didn't happen. I usually buy my TVs at a big box store and install them myself . I walked in to compare prices on a TV and left purchasing a TV and soundbar. Barry did an excellent job explaining all the differences between the TVs. Without a doubt great service and the installation was absolutely worth it. Hiding the cables behind the wall wasn't something I would ever do myself. On a big screen TV you owe it to yourself and let these guys do it for you.

Then I was able to make an easy appointment for purchase and for delivery of my new 4K TV. I love the TV and I appreciate the actual customer service from Big Screen Store that is so lacking in most places these days.

Great experience at the Store. Steve gave a no-pressure presentation with the TV's. Delivery service however is another matter. TV came, and the guys eye-balled the entryway to the basement and said it wouldn't fit. Didn't even try to bring it down.Said they could open the box and try to bring the TV down that way, but that I would have to sign something in order to absolve them of any damage to the TV and my walls. Not sure how I feel about that customer service. I paid thousands of $ to purchase this TV, and you can't try and get it down?I'm in contact with the store now, and hopefully we can work something out since I think that if they can take the TV out of the box, they should be able to maneuver it around the doorway and bring it down.**I want everyone to understand, the guys at the store were great (Steve in particular). What I didn't like was the lack of trying from the delivery men to even attempt to bring my TV downstairs. I get it, they don't want to be liable, but they could at least try.

I had a specific budget and features in mind, and Barry did not try to oversell me or pressure me in the least. I hadn’t had a television in 16 years, and many things had changed, but Barry patiently explained things and let me practice with the controls. I have a traumatic brain injury and said that I might forget, but he said that the guys who did the installation would show me again, and if I STILL had trouble, I could always come back.The people who installed it were very helpful and did a great job (& explained again). They cleaned up and I just had a beautiful new TV on the wall - it was like magic!I highly recommend this business for their ethics, service, and product line.

I visited The Big Screen Store in Rockville, MD to look at credenzas. I was helped by Mike. L. I explained to Mike that I only wanted a credenza since I was going to purchase my TV from a box store. Mike showed me credenzas and explained what the benefits were if I purchased a TV from The Big Screen Store. There was never any pressure from Mike. I took his information and went home and did a little bit of research on my own. I also read reviews on The Big Screen Store and was very pleased with what I read. I went back the following day and purchased a credenza and a TV from Mike. In the following days, I purchased a loveseat and a soundbar from Mike. Delivery and installation was FAST and EASY (next day). The delivery and installation folks were just as pleasant and professional as Mike. For each transaction, I dealt with Mike and each transaction was speedy and professional. Frankly, after years of disappointment with many retailers, I was a little worried to buy from any place than Amazon. But I must say that the help given to me in selecting my TV and sound system without actually going into the store was invaluable. Sure, plenty of salesmanship, but it was fair and honest. Delivery and install was fast and efficient. Overall a very convenient experience.When the price dropped several days after my purchase, the $200 difference was refunded, as promised, without resistance. When I had trouble with my sound bar after 28 days, they immediately offered to exchange it. Actually the problem with the sound was not the equipment it was my lack of understanding...it didn't come with a user guide. Also, there were some characteristics that weren't explained. The manufacturer's customer support straightened it out for me. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend The Big Screen Store.

Install was smooth, however I was a bit disappointed that the (young folk) doing the install don't seem to understand that old folk like me need a little more help. I am 62, I don't really understand how to hook up to the net, and consequently I still can't really watch the TV today or enjoy the thousand dollar sound system that I purchased along with two thousand dollar TV. I am going to try again Saturday when I don't have to work, but I do wish I had seen a little more effort on their part in this particular area. I have been buying from you since the 1990s, and you still do get my vote!

I had a wonderful experience as a first time shopper. I have always purchased my Samsung TVs from Costco, but given the pandemic, I wanted to spend my money with a local business. I've seen the Big Screen Store's commercials for years so decided to give them a try. This purchase was done remotely after reading the articles on their site and working with Steve at the Rockville store over the phone. After a very reasonable and no pressure conversation I purchased the TV. The price including delivery and set up was cheaper than Costco. As luck would have it, the price dropped 8 days after my purchase and true to their word, they stood behind their low price guarantee, and refunded the difference. I recommend them without reservation and will absolutely be using them again the next time I'm in the market for a new TV.

Our 20-year old projection screen TV died on the Friday of President's Day weekend. After hearing adds about The Big Screen Store for years, we thought we'd check their store out first. They have a clear website for people like us who know what kind of screen will work for our viewing habits, and who also can't afford the stars and the sun, so we figured out exactly the kind of TV we wanted when we arrived at the store. They were helpful, easy-going, knowledgeable and fun to talk to, so much so that we decided to end our search for the 'perfect' big-screen TV right there, in their laid-back showroom. We couldn't be happier with the Samsung 65" TV that we chose, especially because the sale price was better than the sale for the same TV at Best Buy (sorry, Best Buy).

Me and wife were shopping for new furniture, sofa/TV and we couldn't just buy anything due to our recently new purchased home. We visited the big screen store in rockville a few months before we settled on our new home. We had checked out a few furniture stores in the area, but we were not impressed of the comfort/size in the couches and also customer service. I was also looking for a TV as we needed one for the home theater entertainment. I had also visited best buy and the staff was too pushy into buying a TV which is why we didn't purchase from them. After driving to different places and looking for sofa's and TV, our last stop was checking out the big screen store. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Barry. We told Barry we are just looking and that we would be back for a purchase in a few weeks. Barry understood and was NEVER once pushy. We sat down and checked out the 82" TV's and we had a full conversation of different things. It was like we already knew Barry. Barry is wonderful and understanding. The sofa's are so comfortable that i almost fell asleep at the store. As mentioned before we had visited other big furniture stores but none compared to the big screen. The service we received from Barry was above and beyond that we came back after signing our new home and purchased a new sofa. Had them delivered and noticed 1 was either not installed correctly or was damaged. My wife wanted to exchange the sofa's for a different style and we told Barry. Without any issues Barry went out his way to have the sofa's exchanged. The service provided from Barry made us return to the store a few days later after purchasing the sofa's and purchase a new 65" TV. Although its not the 82" that we wanted but i know 100% we will return and i will also let my family and friends to come see Barry.Thanks so much Barry.

He never once pushed me to purchase anything, instead, showed me the differences between the TVs. I made a decision to purchase a TV on a Monday and it was delivered two days later on a Wednesday. The gentleman gently set up the new TV where I wanted it placed and made sure it turned on.The TV I purchased was a few dollars less the Amazon, but I wanted to give my business to a local merchant, and I'm glad I did. The TV came with a one year warranty and they added on another year at no extra cost. I added on one more year for $50. I also liked the idea that they provide lifetime technical support. In fact, a day or so later I had a question and I was walked through the process to help me address the issue.I would highly recommend The Big Screen Store for the purchase of a TV.

The best advice I can give is if you are buying a large size TV do not go anywhere except The Big Screen Store. Here's why:1. Their price matched Amazon and Best Buy.2. They remove the TV from the box for you, attach the legs, set it on your stand, and assure the TV is undamaged, all at no extra charge and quicker than you can.3. They provide an extra year of warranty protection at no charge.4. If you know the brand and model already you want you can order over the phone without hassle5. Delivery was faster than competing storesHaving had two prior TV orders through Amazon arrive damaged/non-functional, and having then to pack them up for return, I can't tell you how much I appreciated point #2 above (for which Amazon doesn't provide, and Best Buy charges a hefty fee). My only regret is that I wish I started with The Big Screen Store in the first place!

Very disappointed and frustrated with my shopping experience at the Rockville Store. UPDATE: The general manager, Jason Brager, called me the same day I posted my review. He asked if I would be willing to talk to him about my negative experience with the store. I was impressed that he didn't throw his people under the bus, but instead spent a couple hours on the phone talking to all parties involved before discerning that mistakes had been made and he fully owned them. (Did not lay it on the employees, I respect that.). Additionally, he could have just refunded my money and that would have been sufficient. However, he asked if he could possibly earn back my trust with The Big Screen Store. He didn't want the sale, he just wanted the opportunity to restore their reputation. I respect that also. While I was reluctant, I did in the end find his sincerity and professionalism worthy of risking working with them. In the end, my TV was delivered and installed promptly and the installer, Romeo and his helper, did a great job. They took time to show me how everything worked. Jason called to check and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. To summarize: Everyone makes mistakes and I accepted the apology for the manager and the resolution to the issue. I do appreciate a company that stands behind their word and reputation. Kudos to Jason for running a quality firm.

Store experience was wonderful. Installation was wonderful while it was happening but after they left I noticed the left leg on the tv stand was sticking out about an inch and not seated properly. I tried for awhile to get it installed properly while holding up the left side of the TV but it was too heavy to keep lifting and the stand wouldn’t budge and we gave up. Now every time I look at my beautiful 82” QLED TV I can only fixate on that one leg not being attached properly and that it’s not sitting level on the beautiful credenza I got from them also... sigh it’s too big and heavy for me to lift and I live alone.EDIT: I purchased another TV for a different room a couple weeks after this... good experience in store, as usual, and when they delivered the second TV, they fixed the issue with the stand on the 82"... ALL IS WELL! And... I'll be back! 🙂

The products and buying process are great. The people who delivered my purchase were very hurried--bordering on being rude. Zero stars for delivery. I chose not to have the product installed so maybe they use a different set of people for installation. Lets hope so. The men who delivered my set were indifferent, at best, to the concept of "customer service", quite different from my in-store experiences.

This is my second purchase from Big Screen Store. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about the products. Got a great black Friday deal and was delivered the next day. No pressure sales tactics. They were also very friendly to my son who just wanted to run around the store and hide behind the theater chairs. 🙂

If I could give more than 5 starts, I would! We had an excellent experience at the Big Screen Store in Rockville. We were greeted with Barry when we entered the store. We told him what we were looking for and he began showing us our options. He is very knowledgeable and worked within our budget. We are so excited with the purchase we made of a75" television and four theater chairs. Great quality and great selection. Barry is an outstanding member of this team. Speaking of team members, we also met Steve who was working at this store and was very friendly. He was working with other customers and was also very helpful. I highly recommend this store and this great team! We are excited to get our room set-up and know we will enjoy this purchase for years to come.
