OUTSTANDING, PERSONABLE, PROFESSIONAL,This Portion of the review is for Josh, my salesperson for the last ten years, along with Big screen TV service department. Lets start with Josh, I spoke to Josh about a year ago while we were ordering furniture. Josh teased me with the new 8K 85 inch TV. I had already purchased a 75 inch tv about three years ago from Josh. I called Josh about two weeks ago about bringing down my mounted TV due to having the wall painted. Josh was on top of everything. While we were on the same call I asked Josh about the 8K 85 inch. Within 5 minutes after Josh gave me an OUTSTANDING price on the 8K, we wrapped up everything on the phone.Now lets talk about the service department. First the reason I buy from Josh is his outstanding service along with what I believe is the best service you can get. Josh set everything up without me making one phone call. Even though Chris explained to me they could not install the tv until the following Tuesday. I asked him if there was anyway possible to install the TV within 48 hours due to my wife and I heading to South Carolina that Sunday. Once again Chris made it happen. THANK YOU THANK YOU. The installer was Duane who had previously been to my house for items I had disconnected accidentally. Duane came to my house at 8 PM, way beyond normal. Duane hung the TV, hooked up all my accessories and took the time to show me how everything worked. From the sale of our TV & sound system to the resolution of an issue with our sound bar, Josh Wiley was excellent. Josh took the time to walk us through all of the settings on our TV. Turns out the issue was not with the new system but rather it was with our service package we had from Verizon did not offer the new 4K sound. A quick upgrade on our Verizon account resolved the problem. Thanks Josh!

I was shopping for a 75 inch Samsung Q80t and professional installation to mount it to the wall. The price for the TV was better than Amazon and Best Buy. The sales rep Mike, was professional and helped us pick out the correct mount that we would need. We were in and out in under 30 minutes!The delivery and installation came that same week and on time. Duane and his partner had everything installed and set up in less than an hour, set up all of my external tv sources and cleaned up any mess they made.Very pleased with the TV, the service and installation.

If you are considering buying a TV and Samsung is a possibility then you really should visit the Big Screen Store. Our experience is with the Towson, MD store. We purchased two TV's and needed installation services including moving two existing TV's to new locations. Josh Wiley helped us through the process of understanding the different Samsung models, (in plain English) answered all of our questions, worked hard to get the best pricing available to stay within our budget and showed great patience as we revised our selection and configuration a number of different times. Multiple on site visits, emails and phone calls were used effectively as we evolved to our final selection. We got all this service at the same cost of nominal (or no) service at the big box stores. Buying technology is not really very much fun for us so having this great resource available made the process less stressful. No up selling or sales pressure techniques from Josh at any time in the process. You really got the feeling he wanted us to be happy with our purchase. We are very happy in our outcome.Installation arranged by Josh (install 2 new tv's , relocate and reinstall 2 existing tv's, different model roku's, cable boxes and a sound bar) the second part of the purchase was of high quality. Big Screen uses HDXperts, Inc as their installer. We rate them with four and one-half stars only because the end of installation tutorial was somewhat lacking. A follow up phone call with the installer solved our only issue when the sound bar would not connect. All in all 9 1/2 stars out of 10 for the experience. Thanks Josh. Will not hesitate to buy from you again, which is the best recommendation you can get.UPDATE UPDATE UPDATEWe just bought another Big Screen and sound bar from Josh. We have purchased multiple big screens over the years from the Big Screen Store and have generally been satisfied. Don’t be fooled by prices on the TV ads! We never leave without being convinced to upgrade and paying significantly more than the advertised specials. They usually offer an extra year of warranty.

We ordered 2 recliners, one sofa recliner and an entertainment center. One recliner stopped working after 2 days and the sofa recliner light didn’t work From deliver which was noted at delivery. The service tech couldn’t get to us for a couple of weeks but when he arrived you knew he cared about getting thing right for us. He was able to fix the recliner but not the sofa. I emailed the store in response to a survey. The the store manager called right away after I explained that had taken over a month and we were still waiting on a solution. He swap us out for a new sofa by the End of the week. I know thing can go wrong but they did everything to make it right. What gave this experience a 4 star instead of 5. After the tech left, he followed up with me. The manufacturer wanted photo proof that the sofa was connected and plugged in to power. Apparently they didn’t believe their tech. So I had to lift the back of the sofa and take multiple pictures and email them to the tech. In the end my furniture works, the store did what they could to help and I’m happy.

Just bought my 3rd TV from the Big Screen Store ( Towson, Md.10-19/2018). Every experience has been great. I ran into a issue with the warranty company recently and they stood by me and did what they could to help me...especially Josh. Things eventually went in my favor. They actually dropped that company. I have only good things to say about the Towson location. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and give them 5 stars absolutely.

The service and sales approach were both excellent. Kim was great. There was never any pushiness, no impatience, and no overselling or outright lying to promote one model over another. I was fairly educated on the options before coming in to the store, and Kim was honest about the design features and differences between the models in question. She was very patient and accommodating as we compared 3 different models under different circumstances, manipulating the content being displayed a number of times. She also got us the best price we could get by taking advantage of a delayed delivery promotion. We didn't expect to look at surround sound options while we were there, but started looking and asking questions. Kim was equally knowledgeable and helpful with the sound systems, as well, and we ended up adding one. The TV setup went smoothly, they were in and out fast, and even took the packing materials with them. The surround sound setup wasn't included, but it wasn't difficult (even though Bose could stand to provide more clear directions for their universal stands. Only one of the two hardware packs is needed. Which one depends on what rear speakers you have). We were very impressed, and will definitely go back the next time we need a new TV.
